Capable of playing as a centre-back or in defensive midfield, Danaher has progressed through the ranks playing in both positions.
He was a part of the Under-15s side which won the U15 National Floodlit Cup against Stoke City, in which he opened the scoring. He was also part of the side which beat Arsenal 5-0 in the regional final.
Danaher earned his scholarship in July 2024 and made his first appearance for the Under-18s in August 2024 against Birmingham City.
His first U18s start came in a 1-1 draw against Leicester City in October 2024. His first goals for the U18s came in April 2025, where he scored a brilliant brace to secure all three points against West Bromwich Albion.
Danaher concluded his first year as a scholar with 19 appearances for the U18s, with those two aforementioned goals and an assist.
In 25/26, Danaher has established himself as a trusted figure in Javier Alonso’s U18s, operating as the metronome in midfield. From forcing turnovers and recovering possession to driving forward and creating chances, he's consistently at the heart of everything. Expect him to anchor every Alonso midfield.
