Palace Women's first summer signing of 2025/26 is here: it's time to meet Jamie-Lee Napier!
The Scotland international has joined Palace on a free transfer, signing a two-year deal with the club.
At only 25, she has already made 112 senior appearances, having represented clubs like Bristol City, London City Lionesses, and Chelsea.

Born in Glasgow, Napier came through the Celtic academy before heading east to Hibernian in 2018.
After a stellar season at Hibs, where she netted 22 goals in 33 games playing as a midfielder, her burgeoning talent caught national attention.
She was named the Scottish Women's Player of the Season, and her eye-catching individual performances at the 2019 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship positioned her as one of Europe's most promising young talents.
This led to her inclusion on UEFA's prestigious "Ten for the Future" list in 2020, alongside future Lioness and Euro 2022 winner Lauren Hemp, highlighting promising players for the coming decade.
With numerous clubs vying for her signature, it was Chelsea who ultimately secured the deal for Napier in 2019, marking her first professional contract.
The Palace dressing room will be more familiar to Napier than most, with her having played with a few of the Palace team in seasons gone by.
She was called up to the Scotland national team in 2023 for the Pinatar Cup, alongside Palace's Chloe Arthur.
In that tournament, Scotland faced Iceland, the Philippines, and Wales. The Welsh squad notably featured Josie Green, then with Leicester, as well as striker Elise Hughes.
During her spell at London City Lionesses, she played with Shae Yañez and Hayley Nolan, with the trio representing the club together from 2021 to 2023.
Napier said upon signing: "I think it's always good knowing a few familiar faces coming into any club, so it makes the transition really easy.
"I've played a lot of football with some of the girls before, mostly Shae and Hayley – we played a good few years at London City together and we had really good connections on and off the pitch."
Fans can expect a formidable presence from Napier both on and off the pitch.
Amassing over 100 senior appearances by the age of 25 is a considerable achievement, demonstrating her consistency and persistence.
Her driven personality was recognised last season, as she was made captain at Bristol City.
She herself described her game: "I'm a big competitor and I want to win in everything I do. So, I think on the pitch, you can expect someone who's got a lot of energy, very tenacious and hardworking and wants to give their all for the team.
"I think off the pitch, I like to just have a laugh and just mingle with everyone. I can't wait to meet the fans and kind of show everyone what I'm about."
