Potter: We have got to take this loss

Crystal Palace Women's Manager Jo Potter spoke to the media, after she saw her side lose 3-1 away to Southampton in the Barclays Women's Super League 2.
Reflecting on the team's performance, Potter said: "It's disappointing because I don't feel like we deserved anything from the game really, which is frustrating for us to say and admit.
"I thought they were worthy winners - they could have had a few more on the day.
"They were deadly, Ellie Brazil was deadly, we spoke about it before the game, on the counter-attack we know what threat she's got.
"We've got to be better, we've got to be better at sustaining those moments, which we have been, and hopefully it's a bit of a kick up the backside before next week, because we're definitely going to need it.
"We knew it was always going to be tough to maintain the good run of form and take it into six, we're happy with five, but just disappointed with the manner of losing that game today really."

Palace had their fair share of chances at St Mary's, but only managed to convert one of them - Ashleigh Weerden scoring directly from a cross.
Potter spoke about the fine margins in the game, and how the team will need to improve next week against Bristol City.
"I think we were getting a little bit too frustrated too early, decision-making was a little bit too late, passes were a little bit too late.
"We worked a lot on playing early this week and working on combination plays to try and disrupt them, disrupt their back line a little bit more and we didn't really do that today which is disappointing.
"I'm not asking for them to be perfect every single week, but we need to come away and say that we outworked them.
"We had a good spell in the second half, I think we nearly got it to 2-2 and then they went up the other end and scored immediately - and those are the fine margins," she said.

Finally, Potter touched on what the message in the dressing room was after the game.
She said: "I've just said to the players in there: 'we've got to take this loss, let it hurt, but we've got to move on very quickly because nothing's done.'
"We've still got ambitions, we still want to push and push everybody ahead of us and we've got two big games coming up.
"I want to see a response, I want to see the players coming out and doing little things that we didn't do today better, and I've no doubt that they will do that."
Her side will take on Bristol City at the VBS Community Stadium this Sunday at 14:00.
