For Guessand, Wednesday's match would mark a Selhurst Park debut, having missed Aston Villa's trip to SE25 last month through his involvement with Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Strand Larsen, however, does have previous at Palace's famous home – having scored the second of Wolverhampton Wanderers' two goals at Selhurst Park last season, in a 4-2 win for the Eagles – which came mere days after our FA Cup Final success.
The goal was, in fact, his second in two matches against Palace last season – having also netted in the 2-2 draw at Molineux earlier in 2024/25.
