The England international enjoyed another fine showing at Wembley last weekend, with a virtuoso midfield display, complete with a wonderful assist to tee-up Ismaïla Sarr's late equaliser.
Wharton now wants to use those two memorable Wembley successes to spurn on the Eagles on to another memorable campaign in 2025/26.
"It's motivation for us to go and do it again and win another trophy," Wharton said. "The feeling, obviously the lads, even when you watch it back, you get goosebumps seeing the fans, how much it means to them.
"The motivation is definitely there. The manager wants to win as much as possible – he's a winner.
"I think the players, us as a team, we want to do that as well. Hopefully, we can continue from last year and go for another trophy."
