The 22-year-old midfielder was at his influential best in the centre of the park, despite only having shaken off an ankle injury – sustained against Arsenal three days prior – and having spent much of the interim period with his right foot attempting to reduce the swelling!
"To be fair, I couldn't really shoot fully!" he laughed afterwards. "It wasn't very comfortable, but I'm not going to miss a cup final for a little swollen ankle."
