The duo were both instrumental in the Eagles' goal on the night: Canvot put in a titanic performance and – following some clever passing around the Palace box and a surging run forwards – set in motion the move which culminated in Sarr heading home Muñoz's clipped cross.
That strike gave the Eagles an unassailable four-goal lead in the quarter-final tie which, thanks to Palace's resilience, Fiorentina ultimately could only reduce down to two in Italy.
