Crystal Palace returned to winning ways in the Premier League as Jean-Philippe Mateta's header, followed by a second-half own goal, was enough to down Brentford – and you voted Jefferson Lerma, who played a part in both goals, as your Player of the Match!
The Colombia international was making his second Premier League start of the season and demonstrated his quality with a crucial pair of assists.
Just after the half-our mark, it was Lerma who headed Yéremy Pino's floated free-kick back across goal for Mateta to nod goalwards – before the Colombian's signature long throw forced Nathan Collins into a header which found the back of the Brentford defender's own net.
Lerma was also key to the win in his general play, completing more passes (33) than any of his teammates; having the third-most touches (49) and winning three aerial duels in the overall contest.
His play saw you award him 43.1% of your Player of the Match votes, with Mateta (13.7%) and Daichi Kamada (12.3%) also scoring highly.
