The Senegal forward had the ball in the back of the net on three occasions at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – the first with half-an-hour gone on the clock, only for his effort to be disallowed by an extremely close offside call.
Tottenham took the lead moments later – but Sarr and Palace responded vehemently.
Within minutes, the No. 7 had latched onto a flick on by Jørgen Strand Larsen to race in behind Mickey van de Ven. The Spurs defender was dismissed for pulling Sarr back, and the striker stepped up to roll home an equaliser from the spot.
