      About this role:

      Crystal Palace FC Women's Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to lead our medical team. You will be a key member of the medical department providing high-quality physiotherapy services to the CPFCW First Team. In collaboration with the medical team, you will be the key decision-maker on injury assessment, diagnosis and treatment. You will assist with providing treatment, the delivery of rehabilitation and injury prevention programmes, the coordination of the medical services on match days and organising and implementing screening programmes, where required.

      You must be able to collaborate within a multidisciplinary high-performance team environment and be flexible enough to adapt to changes in the team schedule. You will be required to travel with the performance team to support our elite players through competitive fixtures, both home and away.

      Responsibilities:

      • The medical care and injury rehabilitation of all players on the team.
      • Line-manage the medical department
      • Develop and implement injury prevention strategies to minimise the risk of injuries during training and games.
      • Evaluate and diagnose injuries and provide appropriate medical treatment and rehabilitation plans.
      • Work with the coaching staff to develop individualised injury recovery plans for injured players.
      • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all players and provide regular reports on the status of injured players on WPS.
      • Collaborate with the coaching staff to develop and implement conditioning and fitness programmes that help prevent injuries and improve player performance.
      • Ensure that all medical equipment and supplies are maintained in good condition and available when needed.
      • To provide medical cover for every Women first team fixture (including away travel).
      • Accompanying players to medical appointments as required.
      • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sports medicine and injury management and incorporate them into the team's practices.
      • Manage a full spectrum of injuries expected in a women professional football club
      • Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.
      • Upholding and promoting the Club policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.

      Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

      Essential:

      • Be a registered member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
      • Have appropriate medical indemnity to treat/advise FA WSL and FA WC players.
      • Have an up to date full Advanced Emergency Aid qualification; this should be the Level 5 ATMIFF
      • Attend a yearly ATMMiF-R reaccreditation.
      • Minimum 4 yearsexperience in working in elite sport
      • Experience of managing a medical department and team
      • Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy (BSc/MSc)
      • 3-5 years of postgraduate musculoskeletal experience

      Desirable:

      • Experienced in working in elite womens sport
      • Postgraduate Sports Medicine qualification (PGCert, PGDip, MSc etc)
      • Pitch rehab experience
      • Be a UKAD Clean Sport Advisor

      The role is responsible for being present at the Women’s and under 21s team home matches, providing a Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) function, addressing poor behaviour and raising standards in football, promoting safeguarding and creating a culture that celebrates good practice across the Women’s football.

      This role will assist in the successful delivery of the Club’s safeguarding mission, strategy, policies and ensuring the Club are adhering to Premier League standards and FA requirements.

      Responsibilities:

      • Work as part of a wider Club Safeguarding team, taking responsibility to ensure the Club and Women’s football are adhering to and meeting the Premier League and FA Safeguarding Standards.

      • Support the wider team by ensuring the Women’s team is compliant with the FA, and any other external audit requirements as directed by Head of Safeguarding.

      • Work in partnership with the Head of Safeguarding and Safeguarding team to deliver the Club Safeguarding strategy, including helping to develop and deliver safeguarding policies and practices.

      • Be the primary point of contact for employees, workers, players, and parents for all safeguarding and welfare concerns within the Women’s team and Girls Academy under 21s and 16s, giving direction and guidance in respect of safeguarding concerns, allegations, and the Club’s whistleblowing policy.

      • Ensuring compliance and engagement with policies and procedures from a safeguarding perspective and raise any incidents of non-compliance or poor practice with the Head of Safeguarding.

      • Provide guidance and support for projects, events and new initiatives which have safeguarding implications/considerations.

      • Be present at all Women’s team and under 21s team home games to act as Designated Safeguarding Officer, being the first port of call on match days for any safeguarding related incidents or concerns.

      • Coordinating and implementing safeguarding initiatives for match days throughout the season.

      • Able to provide cover and act as Designated Safeguarding Officer on Match Days at Selhurst Park where required.

      • Assisting the Head of Safeguarding to manage cases of poor practice and abuse reported to the Club.

      • Liaise with, and report where necessary, to statutory and other external bodies regarding matters of child protection, safeguarding concerns and poor practice, in line with Club’s safeguarding policy under the guidance and leadership of the Head of Safeguarding.

      • Work in partnership and maintain effective relationships with statutory and football authorities, sharing information where appropriate to safeguard.

      • Work closely with all departments to coordinate appropriate welfare and safeguarding support for players.

      • Support the Head of Safeguarding to act as lead advisor in the women’s team and Girls Academy under 21s and 16s on issues or matters relating to Prevent in line with the Club’s policy, strategy and the Premier League Standards.

      • To ensure player welfare is always the primary consideration in all activities.

      • To support the transition of players in and out of the team, including on loan, supporting the Player Care Officer with accommodation site visits and possible review meetings both home and internationally where necessary.

      • Ensure all safeguarding and poor practice concerns are recorded on MyConcern and securely retained in accordance with data protection legislation.

      • Assisting the Safeguarding team in maintaining a safe working environment by keeping accurate and confidential records.

      • Representing the Club at external meetings related to safeguarding.

      • Providing safeguarding advice and support to colleagues.

      • Arrange and deliver briefing workshops, in safeguarding topics such as anti-bulling, appropriate use of social media, code of conducts, to staff and players.

      • Attending regular safeguarding training and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and best practice.

      • Ensure all staff/volunteers understand their individual responsibilities to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable groups and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.

      • Support and coordinate additional initiatives as directed by the Head of Safeguarding.

      • Act as Welfare Officer for trips and tours where required.

      • Being available to support with duties in the absence of safeguarding colleagues.

      • Be available to support the Women’s team with tasks that may extend beyond safeguarding and welfare responsibilities, as required.

      • Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.

      • Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.

      Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

      • Relevant qualification and / or substantial safeguarding experience.
      • Experience working directly with young people and/or at-risk groups in a safeguarding capacity or within a safeguarding environment.
      • Expert level of knowledge and understanding of current safeguarding and welfare issues, legislation, statutory guidance and best practice.
      • A person-centered and trauma informed approach, with the ability to maintain this perspective
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build meaningful, strong relationships with staff, players and parents/carers.
      • Clarity about what constitutes poor practice and what is abusive behaviour
      • Relevant safeguarding training.
      • Experience of managing and recording safeguarding concerns, incidents and allegations of poor practice.
      • Experience of working with and referring to statutory agencies and governing bodies.
      • Experience of providing safeguarding advice and guidance to colleagues.
      • Knowledge and experience of identifying, assessing, and managing risk.
      • Knowledge and understanding of recognised safer recruitment practices.
      • Ability to promote best practice and the importance of a safe environment.
      • Knowledge and understanding of GDPR, Data Protection Act and confidentiality.
      • A commitment to continued professional development and willingness to undertake regular safeguarding refresher training.
      • IT skills including experience of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams)
      • Experience of MyConcern electronic case management system and Whole Game System (desirable)
      • FA Safeguarding children qualification (desirable)
      • A Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) qualification (desirable)

      To provide a robust and diligent security operation for Crystal Palace Football Club across its’ various sites on weekdays, events/functions, and some of the matchdays; To create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well protected.

      Responsibilities:

      • Operating and monitoring all CCTV equipment, radios and ancillary equipment to provide pro-active and reactive monitoring of CCTV cameras to assist with the detection of crime, antisocial behaviour, fire and any other alerts.
      • To operate and monitor all systems within the control room in an effective and efficient manner. To ensure all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, current legislation (GDPR) and current code of practice.
      • Maintain a close liaison with the Head of Security and Security supervisors.
      • To record all events and actions in a clear and accurate format through the use of the current software-based solution used by the CCTV control room.
      • Monitor, operate and communicate using all forms of equipment
      • Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.

      About this role:

      Crystal Palace Football Club are looking for a Site Night Security Officer to join our Security team at our Academy in Beckenham. The role includes manning a gate or reception overnight ensuring that the premises is secure whilst also making sure that all visitors to the site have an enjoyable and safe visit. We are looking for somebody with excellent communication skills, is professional and has a can- do attitude. You will be adaptable and flexible as shift patterns are varied each week.

      Responsibilities:

      • Manning the main gate entrance to CPFC Academy site whilst open until close
      • Liaise with the Crystal Palace Football Club control room to ensure the site is secure
      • Directing deliveries and visitors to the correct area of the grounds
      • Recording all visitors and deliveries that enter the ground over night
      • Pro-actively carry out patrols looking for signs of crime or disorder and investigating disturbances
      • Report in detail any suspicious incidents or occurrences or hazards over night
      • Respond to any alarm activations
      • Ensure that CPFC standards are upheld by being the first line of contact with guests and provide a welcoming environment to provide the best experience and visit at CPFC Academy

      About this role:

      Reporting into the Lead Foundation Phase Coach, the U10s Head Coach will be responsible for the week to week management and support of the individual players within the age group.  The coach will need to plan and deliver individual development plan (IDP) sessions along with team sessions and match-day organisation.

      • Lead the U10s age group of players through their weekly training sessions and extensive Premier League games programme.
      • Lead Player review meetings with Parents.

      About this role:

      Crystal Palace FC is looking for an experienced Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to lead and deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based rehabilitation to our first-team players. The primary focus of this role is to manage and progress individual return‑to‑play pathways, optimise player performance during recovery, reduce injury risk of re‑injury, and ensure a safe and effective return to training and competition.

      Responsibilities:

      Rehabilitation

      • Lead the planning, delivering, and overseeing the full rehabilitation pathway for first team players, ensuring a safe and effective return to training and competition.
      • Designing and implementing individualised medium and long-term rehabilitation programmes tailored to the player’s stage of recovery and position-specific demands.
      • Implement return‑to‑play protocols and progressive performance‑rehab programmes.
      • Develop and monitor injury prevention strategies, collaborating with Sports Science, S&C teams and Rehabilitation and Fitness coaches.
      • Conduct objective testing and data‑driven assessments to track progress.
      • Contribute to innovation and research-based practice within the department.
      • Support education and mentorship within the physiotherapy and wider MDT teams.

      <br> Leadership and Communication

      • Communicating effectively with the Head of Sports Medicine to ensure they are kept up-to-date on all medical matters relating to first team players
      • Design and deliver daily tailored rehab sessions—both one-to-one and small-group—on the pitch and in gym settings for injured players.
      • Liaising closely with all sports science and medicine staff to ensure that an effective and efficient service is provided to the players
      • Lead and support continual enhancement of rehabilitation protocols, ensuring alignment with evidence-based best practice.

      Clinical

      • Produce phase-specific rehabilitation plans (daily, weekly, medium/long term) and share with MDT stakeholders.
      • Reviewing and providing further opinion on the management of all first team injuries as required by the Head of Sports Medicine
      • Leading on the rehabilitation of injured players as required by Head of Sports Medicine
      • Accompanying players to medical appointments as required

      Administration

      • Carrying out departmental administration tasks as required
      • Producing daily and weekly rehabilitation plans for sports science and medicine staff
      • Develop the rehabilitation hub of our athlete data management system.
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical notes in keeping with HCPC regulations
      • Ensuring Continuing Professional Development is undertaken
      • Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.

      Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

      • Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience
      • BSc in Physiotherapy
      • HCPC and CSP registration
      • Up-to-date ATMMIF qualification
      • Proven ability to design and deliver individualised return‑to‑play programmes for elite athletes.
      • Demonstrated experience in leading the full rehabilitation process from acute injury through to return to competition.
      • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment in a professional sports setting, preferably football
      • Significant experience in the assessment, treatment and management of professional athletes, preferably including football players
      • Significant experience of planning and delivering gym-based rehabilitation strategies
      • Significant experience of using clinical and pitch-based objective measures to inform clinical decision making in rehabilitation
      • Knowledgeable of current sports injury research
      • Knowledgeable in the assessment, treatment and diagnosis of sports injuries
      • Comprehensive knowledge of rehabilitation and injury reduction strategies

      About this role:

      Reporting into the Head of Academy Operations, the Academy Operations & Administration Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the Academy with a particular focus on the U16 – U21 age groups along with the Academy Tours & Tournaments programme.

      Responsibilities:

      • Be one of two ‘Superusers’ for Teamworks, the Academy’s main operations and communications app
      • Complete weekly U18 & U21 schedules on Teamworks to ensure the smooth daily operations of the Academy
      • Complete all pre and post-match administration for the U16, U18 & U21 programmes
      • Attend all Under 21 home fixtures and be the main point of contact for the away team
      • Manage the Academy Tours and Tournaments programme (U9 – U16) – from identification of the tournament to the administration
      • Respond to weekly external scout requests and compile access lists to be held at reception on a matchday
      • Submit all Scholarship applications along with trialist paperwork for PDP Players
      • Administer monthly Scholar expenses
      • Arrange all hotel and transport requirements for U16 – U21 fixtures
      • Sit on the Academy Management Team and circulate slides and next steps at the end of each meeting
      • Arrange additional fixtures for PDP squads when necessary
      • Arranging of Match Officials for U16 Fixtures and PDP Fixtures via the London FA
      • Complete weekly and daily Whereabouts in line with FA Anti-Doping regulations
      • Raising Purchase Orders for approval
      • Liaise with Women’s Operations Manager to ensure no scheduling clashes across the Academy site
      • Support other Academy departments with administrative processes as and when required
      • Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.

      Academy Host Family Provider

      About this role:

      Crystal Palace Football Club are currently seeking host family providers to support our Academy players who will be required to live away from home to fulfil their education and football training at our club.

      This provision supports our young people’s holistic experience and will enable them to reach their full potential.

      The host family provider will help fulfil the club’s duty of care with regard to our young people by ensuring homely accommodation is provided throughout the season to our young people who require it. Our placements vary from one-night stays to five-seven nights per week and we are looking for host families who can offer either of these placement types to our young people aged between 15–21-years-old.

      Requirements and responsibilities

      • Provide a homely and friendly environment for our young people.

      • Support our young people by teaching them basic independent living and self-care skills such as washing, cooking and cleaning up after themselves. Provide meals in line with nutritional guidance from the Academy. Accommodation has access to public and local amenities with good transport links to the Academy training ground.

      • Report any welfare concerns to the Academy Safeguarding and Welfare team should they occur.

      • Include our young people in family life as much as they feel comfortable with.

      • The club will regularly inspect and visit the placement during the season.

      • The club will provide further guidance to host families, young people and their parents explaining what would be expected of them.

      Crystal Palace Football Club is committed to safeguarding and ensuring the welfare and protection of children and young people and expects host families to share this commitment. As such, the post holder will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check and risk assessments prior to a placement commencing.

      Any other person who resides in the household or has regular contact will also legally be required to complete an enhanced DBS. Host Families will be required to attend safeguarding training and workshops (if necessary) arranged by the Academy.

      Essential requirements and skills:

      • Provide the young person with a suitable and safe environment.

      • Provide the young person with their own double size bedroom.

      • Excellent communication and listening skills and ability to build trusted working relationships.

      • Able to cope with the young person’s flexible schedule throughout the football season.

      Desirable knowledge, experience and skills:

      • Experience and knowledge of working with young people.

      • An understanding of the emotional impact and well-being challenges that academy/ professional life may bring.

      • Child-focused approach.

      • Ability to promote and demonstrate anti-discriminatory practice.

      • Capacity to accommodate more than one player.

      As part of the recruitment process the club would need to conduct a number of home visits to determine the suitability and ensure the home meets the requirements for hosting young players within the Academy.
