Part of the famous Leicester City side which won the Premier League in 2015/16, Schlupp is one of the most reliable and versatile players in recent Palace history.
Schlupp became Sam Allardyce's first signing when making the move from Leicester City in January 2017 for an undisclosed fee, and debuted against West Ham United the following day.
The versatile player won the Premier League title with Leicester in 2015/16 having played in 24 of their 38 league matches.
He was named Players' Player of the Season the previous campaign when he helped the Foxes unexpectedly beat the drop in their first season back in the top-flight, after helping them win the Championship in 2014.
In total he represented Leicester 150 times before his switch to Selhurst Park. After making his professional debut as a striker on loan at Brentford in the 2010/11 season, he marked his first appearance for the Foxes in style as he bagged a hat-trick against Rotherham United in the League Cup before gradually moving further downfield during his career.
Born in Germany, he began representing Ghana in 2011 and was named in their squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and scored his first international goal against Mauritius in June 2015.
Since moving to SE25, Schlupp has been a regular fixture in the Palace first-team, playing a multitude of positions. He has been deployed in midfield, attack and defence, though more often as a midfielder in recent years.
Schlupp scored his first goal for Palace on the opening day of the 2018/19 season in a 2-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage. He followed this up with a goal aginst West Ham and the opening strike in the famous 3-2 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in December 2018 - the game where Andros Townsend scored an astounding Puskás-nominated 30-yard volley.
His 10th goal of his tenure in red and blue came against Sheffield United at Selhurst Park in 2020/21. The 2023/24 season saw Schlupp amass over 200 Premier League games for Palace, while also scoring a sensational 25-yard strike against Fulham to salvage a point at Craven Cottage in April 2024.
