Last week we welcomed former Sky Sports presenter and world-renowned football journalist Neil Ashton as guest speaker at the Business Club lunch in association with MyPeople.
Attended by over 120 guests representing both local and national businesses as well as senior leaders from Crystal Palace Football club including the CEO and Commercial Director, the event provided a fantastic opportunity for networking whilst enjoying fine dining and hearing from such a respected figure in the football industry.
Speaking passionately about both football and business, Ashton touched on many aspects of his career, including how he got into it and iconic people he’s met along the way. He also discussed the role and responsibilities of the media in dealing with issues such as mental health and racism.
Designed by Executive Chef Julian Maisonneuve, guests were treated to a three-course fine dining menu as well as Palace wine, - produced by Palace shareholder and Crystal Palace fan Stephen Browett - before hearing from Neil Ashton.
Delighted guests concluded the event winning incredible one-off prizes such as signed memorabilia and Premium matchday packages, before taking a tour around the stadium – offering guests the chance to view the dressing rooms and sit in the managerial dugouts.
With this event having sold out and the next Business Club lunch due to be announced shortly, email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest and not miss out.
"Another really good Business Club event. Neil Ashton was an exceptional speaker and made a good event great!"
