Down Memory Lane

27th February 2020

On 25th February we were delighted to welcome Crystal Palace legends Jim Cannon and Dave Swindlehurst to Selhurst Park for the latest Down Memory Lane event.

Hosted in Speroni’s Restaurant, Cannon and Swindlehurst were joined by club historian Ian King and host Terry Byfield as well as over 150 Crystal Palace fans to reminisce about the 70s and 80s.

The event was run in collaboration with the FAs ‘Heads Up’ campaign, promoting the importance of talking about our mental health.

Guests took part in a Q&A session with the Crystal Palace legends, discussing memories from famous nights including FA and Youth Cup success and the promotion night against Burnley.

The afternoon concluded with fans being invited to take a look behind the scenes at the stadium with a trip to the dressing rooms rounding off the event.

With a bar and large floor space as well as being named after another Palace legend, Speroni’s Restaurant provided the perfect environment for the event which was very well enjoyed by guests.
