Crystal Palace Football Club and the Palace for Life Foundation took Palace fans to take down memory lane in the company of former Palace defender David Payne and club historian, Ian King in December.
The Glaziers Bar was the backdrop for a special event in December, giving fans the opportunity to go Down Memory Lane with former Palace defender David Payne and club historian Ian King, supporting the FA’s Heads Up campaign to increase awareness of mental health.
150 guests enjoyed the event, hosted by the club alongside Palace for Life Foundation, which saw both speakers talking guests through the club’s history between the 60s and 70s with some superb memories and anecdotes shared. A Q&A session followed, giving fans the opportunity to put their questions to David Payne and Ian King. Refreshments were also available throughout the afternoon.
The Glaziers Bar, situated in the heart of the main stand, is one of our best value for money rooms when looking, whilst offering all the key benefits and flexibility we pride ourselves on at Selhurst Park; including the latest PA technology, theatre style seating, optional staging and fully stocked private bar.
